Suicide Prevention Walk

Jamari and two of her other labmates volunteered to table at the Suicide Prevention Walk on the Elon University Campus. The table featured various activities to complement shareable digital infographics detailing vulnerabilities to suicide and mental health in individual minoritized communities.

Annual Conference

At the APHA 2025 annual conference, Jamari earned a spot in a competitive application process to attend the APHA annual conference in Washington, D.C. as an official member. With the public health studies department sponsoring her and 3 other students, she was able to participate in lighting talks and indulge in an immersive research experience with various academics.
